Escape Theme Park ;D Wednesday, October 22, 2008 Escape Theme Park on 17/10/2008 At first, Aloy and CCY said they were coming, but CCY changed his mind at the last minute and Aloy didn't want to be the only boy, so Aloy didn't come either. We - Xin Ee, Celeste, Xue Yi and I - went there in a car, and we were dropped off at Downtown East. We weren't sure where to go, so we consulted a map, and we had to walk through this huge dump to get there. We got our tickets, and paid $35.60 for four tickets, and we got four tickets extra for free. We went in, and took the first ride, which was called the Flipper and we kept screaming our heads off. We kept saying that if the boys had come, they would have laughed as if they were from IMH, but you boys would laugh when you read this (I think) anyway. The next ride we took was this flying thing. I think it's called the kiteflyer. And it was very boring, seeing as it didn't fly very high. Xin Ee said that she were Supergirl, and I almost fell asleep on the ride. No, not literally. Next we took the pirate ship , a.k.a., Viking. Celeste was screaming, Xin Ee, Xue Yi and I were laughing, and we had stomach aches, and our muscles were pain. Celeste was holding on to the bar for dear life, and she almost cried. According to Xin Ee, she kept saying, "I very scared!!!" I think next, we spilt up, Xin Ee and Celeste went to the Wet & Wild, and Xue Yi and I went to take the Go-Kart. Wet & Wild is a log fume ride, where Xin Ee got drenched with water. The Go-Kart had a really long queue, and we had to wait a while. After that, Xin Ee and Celeste came to look for us, and Xin Ee and Xue Yi took the Go-Kart, while Celeste and I went to Orange Julius, and she bought a drink, and I bought a hotdog. Xue Yi and I went to take the Bumper Boat, while Xin Ee and Celeste went to take other rides, and Xue Yi and I were really wet after that, because you could spray water from the boat. End of story. Just kidding. While we waited for them, Celeste and I went to take the Roller Coaster, which is only fun when you ride at the very back of the coaster. So bear that in mind when you take the roller coaster at Escape Theme Park. Then, unfortunately, it started raining. We went for lunch at Burger King/Orange Julius, and then because the rides wouldn't work, we went to Downtown East to shop. We wanted to go into this playground, but even though we're 12, we couldn't go in without an adult, so we had to abandon that idea. Then it stopped raining miraculously. We went back to Escape Theme Park, but the rides were still wet, so Xue Yi and I went to take the ferris wheel while Xin Ee and Celeste queued for the Bumper Boats. We drenched them in the end. Then Xue Yi and I went to take the Go-Kart, this time, the slope was steeper. (Different Track) And Xin Ee and Celeste went to take the Wet & Wild again, but they came back asking us to take care of their bags, because they couldn't put in on the ride, but we couldn't, as the car was really small, and we had our own bags to take care off, so Celeste and Xin Ee went off again, Celeste went off with grouchy faces and all. They went home shortly after that, but Xue Yi and I stayed. We took other rides, like the Viking, Flipper, most of the rides we took before, but we took the Roller Coaster the most, because I sprayed water on others on the Bumper Boat, and Xue Yi went to take the Wet & Wild. Since we were both wet, we had to take the Roller Coaster to be dry again. Then we went home. (I know, a stupid way to end it.) ~Cai Ni. |
